Autism is a disability that strikes 1 in every 100 children - with nearly four times as many boys affected. It inhibits the development of communication, sometimes locking the children into their own world. There is no cure but special education can make a real difference to these childrens' lives. Our aim is to raise awareness of autism and to help Ambitious about Autism provide new and better services for children with autism and their families, across the UK.
